Activities With Elephant :–
1. Meeting & Introduction:–
First Impressions: During a first encounter with an Asian elephant, let them get to know your smell. Build rapport by petting them gently, talking softly, and establishing eye contact
2. Feeding the elephant:
You must have heard the expression, ‘the road to anyone’s heart is through the stomach.’ That holds true for elephants too. The easiest way to gain their trust is by feeding them. You will get the chance to feed them while you learn their feeding pattern and what they love to eat.
3. Mud Bath With Elephant – A Fun experience
Join the mud bath with elephants is a wonderful expression of our deep affection for these majestic creatures. Not only do elephants relish this experience, but it also promotes the health of their skin. The natural minerals in the mud will leave your skin feeling soft and cool, revitalized and cleansed. As you accompany these giant gentles in this merry custom, they enjoy splashing mud with their trunks, indulging in the pure pleasure of the moment. Together, with laughter and gentle trumpets, a lovely symmetry with nature emerges, carrying the pungent smell of an enduring bond.
4. Walking with the elephants in the village
Instead of elephant rides, we promote an alternative experience at Elephant Sanctuary where you can walk with our elephants This program seeks to establish a precedent for creating elephant welfare awareness.
5. Elephant washing & shower
Late afternoon is the time we have washing and scrubbing our elephants. Due to safety considerations and according to the India Forest Department guidelines, we cannot have guests enter the lake with the elephants. However, at the sanctuary, you can take part in washing and scrubbing the elephants. In this exercise, the guests are able to view the elephants, and if lucky, enjoy the thrill of being sprayed by the water from an elephant’s trunk.
